Public Health – Seattle & King County is seeking a Project/Program Manager IV (Prenatal to Five Team Lead) to support the Best Starts for Kids Prenatal to Five team within the Community Health Services (CHS) Division. This role provides strategic leadership and oversight of programs that reach children and families in their prenatal to five years, ensuring access to high-quality services in homes, child care settings, and community spaces.

The Team Lead will partner with project/program managers to guide the implementation of the following strategies: Home-Based Services, Community-Based Parenting Supports, Child Care Health Consultation, and Help Me Grow. This position will supervise program staff, manage administrative functions, and lead collaboration with cross-sector partners to strengthen promotion, prevention, and early intervention services for children under five. The role is central to advancing an integrated system of early learning within King County under the Help Me Grow framework.

Working in close partnership with the Maternal and Parent-Child Policy and Systems Lead, Best Starts Implementation Manager, and Prenatal to Five Policy and Program Manager, as well as leadership across Public Health – Seattle & King County and the Department of Community and Human Services, this position will align Best Starts services with broader Parent-Child Health efforts within the Community Health Services Division. The Team Lead will play a key role in strengthening program connections, facilitating cross-referrals, and ensuring families receive coordinated and culturally responsive support.
